Strudwicks is a calm, spacious café nestled within the Christian Centre on Strudwick Drive, making it a convenient spot for locals in Oldbrook and Milton Keynes looking for a relaxed place to grab coffee and light bites. The atmosphere strikes a quiet, friendly tone—especially during weekdays—where you can find plenty of room to settle down whether you’re working remotely with the helpful availability of power outlets or meeting friends for a catch-up without the usual café buzz.

The menu caters well to a mix of needs throughout the day. Breakfast options like bacon or sausage baps and simple porridge offer straightforward starts, while lunch features a range of toasties, baguettes, and jacket potatoes alongside fresh homemade cakes and gluten-free or vegan treats. Their coffee game is strong, with classic choices such as cappuccinos, lattes, and mochas complimented by a standout honeycomb hot chocolate for a sweeter alternative. For those balancing work and downtime, the combination of decent wifi, comfy sofas, and easy parking nearby means it fits right into the rhythm of local life.

Families and community groups also seem to appreciate Strudwicks for its welcoming vibe and practical touches like a kids’ area, making it more than just a quick coffee stop. On Sundays, the crowd reflects the church community atmosphere, calmer and more conversational, though breakfast isn’t served then. In short, this is a café that suits weekday visits best—whether you’re after a quiet corner to work or a friendly spot to enjoy fresh coffee and homemade cakes among familiar faces.

Hardworking, experienced and friendly staff team are a delight. Lovely, calm atmosphere with plenty of space during the week. A great selection of freshly-baked treats, fresh fruit, sandwiches and more to accompany a variety of hot and cold beverages.

Lovely café with open space & varied sweet & savoury choices on the menu! Plenty of comfy sofas but also chairs & tables with power outlet access which is perfect when you need to get some work done! Always get a friendly greeting from Sharon upon arrival & there's free parking which is always welcome!

We used to always knit and Natter at Strudwicks and are so glad that New Day Cafe has taken over. Lovely coffee and cakes and even a gluten free option. We are very pleased to be able to meet up again and have been made to feel very welcome

Very friendly & polite people all around the place. Well there would be as the church community was in force on the Sunday morning!! No breakfasts available on Sundays but the coffee & slice of carrot cake was very nice (& @ the right price) indeedy!! Plenty of charging points if you need them & some comfortable settees if you would rather lounge than sit @ a small table & chairs!!

Good standard cafe serving hot drinks, sandwiches, toasties and cakes. A nice peaceful place to come, but be aware of recurring kitchen issues which make them unable to serve food.

Delicious coffee, wonderful warm welcome, perfect selection of treats and light bites. Sausage roll was so good and don't even get me started on the caramel shortbread. Free parking, lots of seating. Not that obvious from the street or car park but trust your navigation system and follow the wonderful aromas of nosh and coffee. I must mention I'm only able to visit about twice a year but Sharon has an amazing memory and remembers me !!! Sharon has a great way of greeting you and making you feel welcome...... and letting you know whats what on the delicious treats she has that day.
